The company is engaged in the business of exploration of Prairie Creek zinc-lead-silver Mine in the Northwest Territories of Canada.

Prairie Creek Mine is a 100%-owned project of Canadian Zinc Corporation. The project, with a mining area of 115.4 square kilometers, is located in the Northwest Territories of Canada, approximately 500 kilometers west ofYellowknife, NWT. According to the resource estimation defined by NI 43-101, Canada on June 15, 2012, the total measured mineral resource in Prairie Creek Mine is about 1.7 million tons, among them there are about 263.5 tons of Ag at an average grade of155g/t, about 205,700 tons of Zn at an average grade of 12.1%, and about 164,900 tons of Pb at an average grade of 22.85%.

The dressing plant holds a beneficiation capacity of 1500t/d and is equipped with 5 sets of 1.5 MW diesel generator and other established production and living facilities. This project is estimated to meet the designed production capacity in 2014 with an annual production of about 500,000 tons of concentrate including 9.5% of Pb, 9.4% of Zn, and Ag at a grade of151g/t. The annual sales revenue will be approximately USD 135 million and the annual profit before tax will be about USD 74 million. The project is predicted to be one of the biggest silver-zinc-lead mines inCanada.

Prairie Creek Mine is a world-class high-grade silver-zinc-lead mine with a 16-kilomter-long vein. It still boasts great exploration potential. 

Now Zhongrun International Mining Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhongrun Resources Investment Corporation, holds 12 million shares of Canadian Zinc Corporation.

A. John F. Kearney

Mr. Kearney has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry. With degrees in law, economics and business administration, he has a strong background (primarily in the mining field) in corporate development, finance and managing public companies.

B. Alan B. Taylor

VP Exploration, Director and Chief Operating Officer (PortMoody,British Columbia,Canada)    

Mr. Taylor is a geologist with over 25 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry. He is a member of the Geological Association of Canada (GAC), the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM) and the BC and NWT Chamber of Mines in the mining industry area.

C. Brian Atkins

Mr. Atkins received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from theUniversityofBritish Columbiaand subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the British Columbia Institute of Chartered Accountants (BCICA).

Mr. MacPherson is the visionary and founding chairman of Canadian Zinc Corporation. He has been active in public markets, corporate finance and corporate development for over 30 years. During this time he has led the strategic development of several successful ventures, primarily in the fields of mining and oil and gas.

E. Dave Nickerson

Mr. Nickerson has spent much of his life as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of theNorthwest Territories, where he served as Minister of Health and Social Services and as a Member of Parliament for nearly 10 years.
